We chanced upon this tombstone of someone named Chang. Whoever this was, he/she was probably happiest on the greens, perfecting the golf swing with the right stance. They say, “You can’t take it with you.” Well, it looks like Chang did. The bench being held up by the bag and ball were all granite but the clubs were real.

I can’t believe I am going to say that i really like a tombstone, but I like this one! and how funny! also, I thought it quite fitting that you chose to keep a lot of grass in the foreground and to the sides – it adds to the feel of Chang’s “greens” – and the blue sky adds even more interest – and is there a glow over the clubs – or is it just the computer screen – lol
fun picture. I know a few golf guys that may add this request into their living wills. lol

I know it may seem strange I’m posting this on the eve of ringing in 2014. But you have to admit, it’s quite the unique and even “happy ending.”

O never thought of it that way – and that makes this post extra cool – as it aligns nicely with the ending of the year!

That is so clever, I would never have thought to do something like that. Really cool find.

Wow! That’s amazing! Were the clubs attached somehow? I do a lot of work in cemeteries (randomly, as work projects) and kind of have a thing for headstones and all that they can communicate.

Yes, the clubs were anchored in. You could tell which ones were used more often.
