Could it be a phase? Is it boredom? Attention-seeking? Adolescent angst? Have we been too caught up in the frenzy of the holiday preparations? While it is true that the numerous Santas that are lounging around the house may seem unfamiliar, there has been no logical explanation to what we found s few evenings ago:

They have been around for more than fifteen years in our home. They come to visit during the holidays, after which, they are lovingly packed away to the storage room.

Then, there’s Slim Santa with most of his fuzzies torn off. Look! He has lips under those white fuzzies!
Yikes! Does this mean the other Santas around the house are vulnerable to atttack?
Well, it’s a good thing not all of them are visiting this year!
Well, there’s a big black dog who’s pretty sheepish lying on his bed and evading our eyes.
They are there for playmates!

That is so funny. There must have been something that he didn’t like and he sure let you know. He does look remorseful though.

He could not look at us when we discovered it!

I hit send too soon. I once had a Shepherd that ate all the lower ornaments. Many were family heirlooms but we loved him still.
