My sister-in-law, Agnes, invited us to try out Little Crepe Street over at Mount Kisco, not far from her home. The establishment is the brainchild of Bonnie Saran, a now well-respected innovator in combining unlikely food concepts. Think Chocolate Grilled Cheese (Brie at that!) sandwiches with Strawberry prosecco coulis on the side and a healthy dollop of newly whipped cream. Or the Apple Cinnamon crepe pasta (shredded crepes). Yom!
Aside from being wowed over by the food, I could not help but share with you all the decor. It was fun, refreshing and novel without being contrived. We enjoyed the brunch greatly. I hope you like the photos too!
Today was sunny and warmer in the East. It reminded me of Bay Area weather. What a fun day to be out and about!
I just had to enlarge the food photo to show you how yummy it was!
good gracious, my mouth’s watering 😛

The shot glass beside the sandwich is a fresh strawberry prosecco sauce. You can either dip the bread in it or pour it on the plate for contrast. It was very good!

Chocolate and brie together, I’m ashamed of myself for not thinking of it, two of my favourite things 🙂
