A Playlist Of My Week

Sunday’s DPChallenge was to create a Playlist: Tell us how your week went by putting together a playlist of  five songs that represent it.

My week has been quite challenging at work.  We had our highs and lows. More highs than lows, I hope. We finished the week by visiting a friend on Friday evening. She’s recovering from her surgery. We had dinner with her and then we went to a Comedy Club!

1.  The Guess Who – Undun – view a live concert clip of the song. I loved the beat of this song. This is supposed to be a Canadian Rock band but you wouldn’t know from this song that they are one. So versatile.

“…Too many mountains, and not enough stairs to climb
Too many churches and not enough truth
Too many people and not enough eyes to see
Too many lives to lead and not enough time.”

2.  Walk On by U2 – Sweet! When those guitars start to fill the air, you know Bono‘s voice is coming….I could listen to this over and over again.

“…And if your glass heart should crack
And for a second you turn back…”

3.  Ain’t No Sunshine – Bill Withers You really feel the pain.

“Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone
It’s not warm when she’s away.”

4.  Too Close – Alex Clare  The beat, the percussion, the base, so smooth!

5.  Good Life – OneRepublic   No matter what the challenges are, it’s all still good.

I know my music choices span a couple of decades. But, that’s the fun of it!

  6. Love them all but I would say the last one is my favorite. It makes me feel good everytime. I believe it’s also the same song in of Disney’s commercials. Truly we need to feel that we have a good life everyday. God bless.
